Text Sizes
If the text exceeds the available space, our system will automatically compress it to fit. The text height (point size) remains unchanged, and there is no limit on the number of characters.
Example - 1" x 3" - 1/2" textOur spec requires FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL to be 1/2" tall. First, we will try a 1" x 3" with 1/2" text:
For nameplates, the text height (point size) is typically set at 50%, 25%, or 12.5% of the total nameplate height. This ensures proper margins and improves readability. Refer to the chart below for details.
